WhatsApp is now seeding an update for all iOS 15 users with version 22.2.75, including focus mode.
The chat app now brings better voice memos, support for Focus mode and shared group/profile photo notifications.
The update started hitting devices in the United States, and will expand to other countries slowly.
Voicemail can be paused and resumed, a swipe up will start recording, as usual, but now there’s also a play/resume button instead of the “stop recording” square button.
Whatsapp focus mode allows users to filter notifications and apps. With WhatsApp being part of the program, users can now choose whether they want to receive notifications from the Meta messaging platform.
These features will roll out “in the coming weeks”, according to the change notes, but are essential for users to use Apple’s latest iOS.
